Colour is: When light is reflected off an object, colour is what the eye sees.
Line is: The identifiable path of a point moving in space. It can vary in width, direction and length.
Shape is: Something distinguished from its surroundings by its outline.
Texture is: the creation of the feeling in a piece or an object.
Pattern is:The repetition of anything; shapes, lines, or colours. However it doesn’t always have to be repeated.
Tone is: The degree of lightness or darkness in an area, it is used in art to identify where these light and dark areas are.
